• Proof of a surgeon’s competency is his certification by the specialty board recognized by the society.
• All board certified PSGS fellows have passed thru rigorous criteria set by the specialty board.

Further proof of a surgeon’s qualification is the letters FPSGS attached to his name. Fellows of the society have passed a comprehensive evaluation of their surgical training skills and have committed themselves to the highest level of ethical conduct according to the set standards of the PSGS.
